Futures techniques to develop partnerships (comments welcomed)
Oct 10 2007, 1:44 PM EDT Prior to meeting with Mairi I had turned down a promotion (this is an extension to Tina's not wanting jobs ploy) so that I could stay on the Mineral Valleys Project and partnership working. This ploy is obviously a good one as they have now promoted me in-situ into Project Manager! I am currently trying to develop up two new partnerships in NE England: 1. One to co-ordinate environmental volunteering and training across the region. 2. Develop a model of landscape-scale partnership set up on a 'Natural Area' scale which is both scalable and portable to other parts of the NE region and national. Hopefully we will kick it off with a future search conference (I am currently investigating futures techniques and I would appreciate any comments that any of you have as to which would be best to use in developing a sustainable partnership around 'Common Purpose').
